We did this ALL BY OURSELVES after many a trip to Home Depot, of course! I decided to go with a neutral wall color and add a bunch of accents in pink and white. Also convinced Hubby to update the baseboards for a cleaner look. I consider myself the queen of caulking! :-P Did you know that if you live in an older house chances are your walls are not completely straight and corners are not 90 degrees? We did have an electrical mishap when Hubby mixed the wires up while replacing the outlets. A fourth of the house was out of electricity for a few days but Lolo Joey came to the rescue! Thanks Lolo Joey!!
I'll write Hubby's story of falling through the ceiling while trying to install the ceiling fan at a later date. (Lolo Joey came to the rescue yet again!)
