Miss J was fast asleep when they picked me up from the office.

After sitting there a few minutes I started wondering why her belly was poking out only to discover Hubby had put her shirt on backwards! His response, "I was wondering why you would buy a shirt with THREE buttons on the front!" :-P

We HAD to stop in Columbus, TX to pick up my new iphone! No lines in this little town!

We then got back on the road. Miss J was done taking naps and silliness was everywhere!

Making funny sounds with her thumb in her mouth. . .

Blowing bubbles and slobbering everywhere. . .

When she started to get really restless I took out the big guns - the talking Cookie Monster - she LOVES this toy! It always makes her laugh and smile.

Hills??!! We're not in Houston anymore!

Once we arrived, Hello took over and Baby J's weekend officially started.

She didn't lack for toys. . .

and playmates - her Daddy and Muncle

and of course Pop provided lots of funny entertainment!

Before dinner I wanted to get the classic 'baby in the grass' photograph. Problem was Miss J didn't like the grass!

Once Baby J was in bed, the adults spent the rest of the evening on the storm tower drinking wine and watching the sunset.

Saturday morning, Miss J was up at the crack of dawn ready to get the day started!

Nobody was up so Hubby brought Miss J downstairs hoping that her squeals would wake everyone up.

Pop heard her!

They guys went to play 9 holes of golf so Aunt Donna, Baby J and I went for a walk around the subdivision.

After our walk, Baby J decided that she wanted a plum for lunch. She saw them on the counter, grabbed one and attempted to take a bite.

Time to go for a boatride!! There hasn't been alot of rain lately so Lake Travis's water level was really LOW. I've never seen it this low!

Miss J was zonked out from all her morning activities.

We had to take a small, open-air elevator to the boathouse.

Good thing Miss J was asleep because it was steep and scary!

Baby J had no clue!

Getting the boat ready to launch.

Once on board it took 3 people to get the little one into her life vest bathing suit. She was a trooper and didn't create a fuss.

Afterwards, she was all smiles and silly faces.

She loved riding the boat. . .

but wasn't too sure about the wind hitting her face.

After we found an empty spot everyone donned lifejackets and jumped in - even Miss J!

She LOVES being in the water

kicking her legs like a frog

and splashing water with her hands.

After all that activity it was time for a bottle of refreshing juice

then a nap.

After Saturday's fun in the sun Miss J was up at the crack of dawn - AGAIN!

We sat on the balcony outside our room and watched the sun come up over the lake.

When it was too hot to stay outside I told her to play quietly while Daddy snoozed. It's so neat that I can sit her down on the carpet and she'll play without tipping over!

Eventually it was time for breakfast and Father's Day gifts

but Miss J was more interested in eating the tissue paper.

Then it was time for a morning snooze

and snuggle time with Pop.

After saying goodbye to Aunt Donna and Bubba we headed to one of my old haunts for lunch - Hula Hut on Lake Austin.

Baby J thinks she's such a big girl sitting at the table with everyone else.

She's developed a strong interest in table food and took the opportunity to grab Hello's glass and steal a sip of iced tea.

Miss J then stole a french fry off her plate. We thought she would suck on it like she does with her teething biscuits but the child slurped it up like a spaghetti noodle!!! Hello fished it out with no problems.

The FUNNIEST moment happened when Hello was trying to eat her chicken sandwich while holding the little one. Well, Miss J had had enough of watching everyone eat the good stuff, grabbed Hello's sandwich with BOTH hands and attempted to take a bite out of it. She wouldn't let go for nothing!

Good times!

After lunch we hit the road. Baby J played for a few minutes then. . .

slept the rest of the way home.

Thank you Aunt Donna and Bubba for having us at the lake house. As usual, we had a great time!
