Weekday Snippets

Hubby and I are very lucky parents - not only do we have the cutest, sweetest, smartest and silliest little girl - we're also lucky to have Miss J's Lola and Hello take care of her during the week. Monday-Wednesday she's with Lola and Thursday-Friday with Hello - it works out well!

During the week, Lola drops Miss J home.


Lately, Cousin NC has been tagging along!


Cousin NC's Elmo wanted some dinner!


Baby J's a pretty good sleeper. She usually goes down around 7:30pm and wakes up around 5am which works for me since I'm usually up and about around 4:30am.


BUT teething has thrown her off. Every once in awhile around 2am, we'll hear a piercing scream on the baby monitor. The first time it happened Hubby jumped out of the bed like the house was on fire!! :-P That's how unaccustomed we are to being awoken in the middle of the night. Instead of trying to soothe her back into the crib (and losing precious sleep), we bring her into bed with us. She falls right back to sleep and we're all good!


And of course, every morning, Miss J walks me out and gives me kisses and silly faces before I drive off to work.
